Single Gondola at Sunset
Silhouette of a single gondola at sunset - It was though all of the other gondolas were gone from the docks. This had been a stormy day and by sunset the sun started breaking through. It was beatiful seeing the colors shine through behind the Santa Maria della Salute Church. Color photography focusing on Venice, Italy. Photographs by Donna Corless.

Donna, your work is a myriad worlds of inspiration! {{Queen of Hearts}} Welcome to my heart of many hearts. {{Modest Jester}} From this wall the jesters of generations to me to speak, and me do keep. {{Gold Mask in Hand}} At my pleasure and convenience do I let my many masks wear me. {{Holding the Rialto}} We fruitful builders of peace do come amongst you bearing gifts of bridges sublime and of corners embrace. {{Candles in Notre Dame}} Flickering candlelight in the night brings a smile of delight to Lady Bright. {{Geraniums on Brick Window}} It’s not easy at all at all being a wall for all who call. Believe me when I say, were it not for the generous help of flowerpot here of a day, well I don’t know what I’d do at all at all at being a wall. {{Venetian Stairway}} From time to time I do love to come here to flutter about in its delightful space, and to alight awhile upon its welcoming walls that I may be with reflecting on the magi travellers of the stairway. {{Mystic Lights 11}} In the green desert of this night a bright white light am I; thought bubbles about do me in the finest of company keep. {{Reflections under the Bridge}} In the unknown watery depths you can sure enough be with seeing one liken unto me, but to see me the me; to see the true me all you need is to be with looking right before you into the light known.
